Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026
TradeDeck is a self-hosted tool: your button decks and the macros they run stay on your own devices and local network. We collect only what we need to run your account and verify your subscription. This policy explains what that is.
What we collect
- Account information. When you sign up we use Clerk to manage authentication. Clerk stores your email address (and, if you choose social sign-in, the identifier from that provider).
- Payment information. Subscriptions are processed by our payments provider (Stripe, via Clerk Billing). We never see or store your full card details.
- Licensing data. To unlock the desktop app we generate a license key derived from your account id, and the app sends a device identifier when it verifies your subscription. We do not receive your macros, screen contents, or any trading activity.
What we do not collect
We do not collect, transmit, or store the contents of your decks, your keystrokes, your screen, or anything about your trades. Macros run directly between your phone and PC over your local network and never pass through our servers.
How we use it
Solely to operate the service: create your account, process your subscription, issue and verify your license, and respond to support requests.
Service providers
We rely on Clerk (authentication & billing), Stripe (payment processing), and Railway (hosting) to provide the service. Each processes data only as needed to perform its function.
Data retention & your rights
We keep account data while your account is active. You can delete your account at any time, which removes your account data from Clerk. For requests related to your data, contact us below.
